- Account information: your name, email address, employer or sponsoring organization, job role, language preference, and login credentials.
- Training records: course enrollments, progress, quiz answers and scores, completion dates, and certificates earned (including certificate numbers and issue dates).
- Payment information, once paid features launch: payments are handled by third-party payment processors; we receive transaction confirmations and billing details but do not store full payment card numbers.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, and similar log data, collected directly or through cookies and similar technologies.
- Communications: messages, feedback, and support requests you send us.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to operate the Site and deliver courses; create and manage accounts; track training progress and issue certificates; send notices about assignments, deadlines, and completions to learners, supervisors, and administrators; improve our courses and the Site; respond to inquiries; process payments; maintain security and prevent misuse; and comply with legal obligations.
4. Training Records and Your Employer
If your access is provided or sponsored by your employer or another organization, that organization's administrators and your supervisor may view your training records — including enrollments, progress, quiz scores, completions, and certificates — and may receive automatic notifications about them, including past-due notices. Training records may also be retained and shared as needed for compliance, audit, insurance, or recordkeeping purposes. If you have questions about how your employer uses your training records, contact your employer.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- with your employer or sponsoring organization, as described in Section 4;
- with service providers that help us run the Site (such as LMS hosting, video delivery, email, analytics, and payment processing), who may use it only to provide those services;
- with professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants where needed;
- to comply with law, legal process, or a government request;
- to protect the rights, safety, or property of MyPetroSkills, our users, or others; or
- in connection with a merger, sale, or other transfer of our business or assets.

9. Your Choices and Rights
You may update your account information through the Site or by contacting us. You may opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link in the message. Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; to exercise them, contact us at info@MyPetroSkills.com. Note that we may retain training records that your employer or applicable law requires us to keep, even after a deletion request.
10. Children
The Site is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Processing in the United States
The Site is operated from the United States, and personal information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the Site from elsewhere, you understand your information will be transferred to the U.S.
